THE VESSEL NAMED ALİZE WHICH CAUGHT CABLE HAS BEEN SALVED

On 18.06.2015, 58-metre-long Moldovan flagged vessel named “ALİZE” got caught in an underwater cable while heaving the anchor in front of Garipçe in northern exit of Istanbul.

Kurtarma 8 tugboat and Kıyı Emniyeti 1 SAR boat were immediately sent by our organization to the place of incident.

As a result of operations, the vessel was freed from cable at 22.40 and anchored in Büyükdere.
