VESSEL NAMED “SOTRA” WHICH SUFFERED ENGINE FAILURE AT ÇANAKKALE STRAIT HAS BEEN SALVED

Today at 05:40 a.m. 73.4 m. long dry cargo vessel named “SOTRA” which was carrying 1800 metric ton block marble, suffered an engine failure in the separation area at Eceabat while navigating North to South direction. Our Kurtarma 2 tugboat sent to the place of incident.
At 06.10 a.m. rope was run out to the vessel and at 07.15 a.m. secured by anchored to Karanlık Port.
