FIRE HAS BEEN EXTINGUISHED AND 2 CREW HAVE BEEN RESCUED ON THE VESSEL NAMED “KOÇALİLER”

At 03.00 a.m. a fire outbreak on the engine room of the vessel named “Koçaliler” on the harborage of the Rumeli Feneri.

Our KEGK 1 SAR boat which was deployed in the same area has immediately responded to the burning vessel and kept the fire under control.

Personnel of the KEGK 1 completely extinguished the fire before leap to other vessels by rapid interfering from outside and inside the vessel using gas masks.

Additionally 2 crew member have been rescued who were sleeping on the vessel at the time of incident.
