THE FIRE ON THE VESSEL NAMED IZMAIL 2

On 07.03.2017 at about 08:48 p.m., a notice was received that a fire broke out on Turkish flagged barge named IZMAIL 2 which was anchored at Hererke  Mooring Area. In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, Kıyem 2  SAR boat and Söndüren 7 tugboat were immediately sent to the place of incident by Izmit Vessel Traffic Services. 

As a result of firefighting efforts, the fire was kept under control. After cooling efforts, the vessel was towed by Söndüren 7 tug boat and anchored to Hereke Mooring Area on 08.03.2017 and at 00:25 a.m.

3 personnel on board were evacuated and no loss of life or environmental pollution reported.

KIYI EMNİYETİ’NDE EMEKLİLİĞE UĞURLAMA TÖRENİ DÜZENLENDİ

Deniz Hizmetleri Daire Başkanlığı’na bağlı gemilerde, kara tahlisiye istasyonlarında ve Genel Müdürlük hizmet binamızda görevli personelimizden 2016 yılı ve 2017 yılı ilk çeyreği içinde emekli olan çalışanlarımıza “emekliliğe uğurlama” töreni düzenlendi.

Bahse konu tören, ERV Nene Hatun Gemisi’nde Genel Müdür V. Sn. B. Olcay ÖZGÜRCE ve Genel Müdür Yardımcısı V. Sn. Hakan VURAL ve Deniz Hizmetleri Dairesi Başkanı Sn. Suat BARLAS’ın katılımlarıyla geçekleştirildi.

Emekli olan personelimize, Genel Müdür V. Sn. B. Olcay ÖZGÜRCE tarafından kuruluşumuza verdikleri hizmetlerden dolayı teşekkür belgesi takdim edilerek, kendilerine emeklilik hayatlarında esenlikler temenni edildi.

THE VESSEL NAMED TALLAS HAS BEEN SALVED

On 01.02.2017 at about 10: 20 a.m., it was received a notice that Cambodin flagged vessel named TALLAS (IMO no: 7364546) which was anchored in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul listed. In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, Kıyı Emniyeti 4 SAR boat was immediately sent to the place of incident.

No response was received  to VHF calls and no personnel was detected onboard vessel. It was reported that the vessel listed 15 degrees to her port side.

The condition of the vessel was checked by our marine vehicles.

In order to respond to the incident, Kurtarma 7 tug boat and a salvage expert were sent to the place of incident.

As a result of salvage service rendered by our organization, the listing of vessel was corrected and the vessel was secured at 4:00 p.m. 

BEREKET GEMİSİNDEN KAYNAKLI ÇEVRE KİRLİLİĞİNE MÜDAHALE EDİLİYOR

27.01.2017 Tarih saat 16:50 civarında İstanbul Ahırkapı demir bölgesinde demirli olan Tanzania bayraklı 8721284 Imo nolu BEREKET isimli gemisinin meyillendiği ihbarı üzerine seyir, can, mal ve çevre emniyetini teminen derhal olay bölgesine Kıyı Emniyeti 4 hızlı tahlisiye botu ve Şark römorkörü sevk edilmiştir.

Kazazede gemi üzerinde herhangi bir personele rastlanılmamış olup, kazazede geminin hızlı bir şekilde su aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Kısa bir süre içinde yaşam mahalli ve ambarlara su girişi olmuş ve gemi yarı batık haline gelmiştir.

Durum derhal, Ulaştırma Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanlığımız ilgililerine bildirilmiş ve alınan talimat üzerine deniz yüzeyinde oluşan kirliliğe Kurtarma 3 ve Şark römorkörleri, Kıyı emniyeti 4 ve Kıyı Emniyeti 6 hızlı tahlisiye botları, Fener 1 hizmet botu ve Kıyı II Rhib botu ile müdahaleye başlanılmıştır.

Muhtemel yakıt sızıntısının yayılmasını engellemek amacı ile gemi etrafına emici sorbent bariyerler uygulanmış, bu bariyerlerin dış tarafına da havalı tip açık deniz bariyeri serilmiştir. Ayrıca seyir emniyeti açısından kazazede gemi üzerine iki adet fener monte edilerek gece görünülürlüğü sağlanmıştır.

Kuruluşumuz balıkadamları tarafından, geminin sualtında kalan ve sızıntı olması muhtemel menhol ve hava firarları körlenerek sızdırmazlığı sağlanmıştır.

31.01.2016 tarihinde Gemi Kurtaran kurtarma gemimiz tarafından kazazede gemi etrafında bulunan bariyerler toplanmış, yerine hava ve deniz şartlarına daha uzun süre hizmet verebilecek olan offshore tipi bariyer serilmiştir. Ayrıca yine gemi etrafında, kirliliğin toplanması için serili olan 250 m emici sorbent bariyerler ile birlikte kontamine olarak toplam 250 Kg. katı atık toplanmıştır.

   Deniz yüzeyine yayılan kirliliğe yağ emici padler ve sorbent bariyerler ile müdahaleye devam edilmektedir.

On 01.01.2017, the pilot onboard Antigua Barbuda flagged vessel named ANNETTE which was passing through Istanbul Strait in North-South direction reported that a fire broke out in engine room. In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, Kurtarma 7, Kurtarma 8 tug boats and Kıyı Emniyeti 4 SAR boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

As a result of salvage service rendered by our organization, the vessel was secured and anchored to Ahırkapı A mooring area.

GROUNDED VESSEL NAMED STAR HARMONY HAS BEEN REFLOATED ​

At 03:55 p.m. Panama flagged vessel Star Harmony has been refloated as a result of the salvage operation carried out by our organization.

VESSEL NAMED “STAR HARMONY” RUN AGROUND

On 29.12.2014 at 01:30 a.m. 188 meter long Panama flagged vessel named STAR HARMONY laden with 47.500 mton corn exposed to a sea peril by grounding in front of Yeniköy while passing through Istanbul Strait from North to South direction.

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, our Kurtarma 3 tugboat and KIYEM 6 sar boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED “ANNA SMILE” THAT SUFFERED ENGINE FAILURE IN ISTANBUL STRAIT HAS BEEN MOORED TO AHIRKAPI

On 08.12.2016 at 12:17 p.m. 225-meter-long Marshall Islands flagged bulk carrier named “ANNA SMILE” reported that her engines stalled in front of Ortaköy and moored in situ while passing through Istanbul Strait from South - North direction.

Our Kurtarma 8 and Kurtarma 3 tugboats and Kıyı Emniyeti 6 SAR boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services and vessel traffic in Istanbul Strait was temporarily suspended.

After repairing the breakdown, at 03:15 p.m. the vessel “ANNA SMILE” was moored to Ahırkapı A mooring area by escort of our tugs.

At 03:35 p.m. vessel traffic in Istanbul Strait was opened in North – South direction. 

No pollution or loss of life reported.

CREW OF GROUNDED VESSEL NAMED “VOLGO DON 203” HAS BEEN SAFELY RESCUED

At 08:33 p.m. Russian flagged vessel named “VOLGO DON 203” which was anchored at Kartal mooring area, Marmara Sea run aground by dragging anchor.

In order to provide safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment Kurtarma 7 tugboat and Kıyı Emniyeti 3 SAR boat have been immediately sent to the place of incident by our organization. Shore based rescue teams in Kilyos and Yönburnu have been also deployed in order to rescue the crew of the casualty vessel from shore. 

Upon receiving request of the crew to abandon the casualty vessel, salvage operation was started at about 10.45 p.m. and operation was completed by providing evacuation of all crew members of the casualty vessel safely as of 12.10 a.m.

Evacuation operation was carried out successfully under the coordination of Main Search and Rescue Center of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication.

VESSELS NAMED SIDER CAPRI AND GRANDE ANVERSA COLLIDED

Italian flagged vessel named “GRANDE ANVERSA” carrying 2614 vehicles which was proceeding to pilot boarding area to take the pilot from South to North direction collided with 99,51 meter long, Malta flagged vessel named “SIDER CAPRI” loaded with 3950 m/ton barley at southern entrance of Çanakkale Strait, despite all warnings given by Sector Kumkale.

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, our Kurtarma 4 tugboat and Kıyı Emniyeti 9 SAR boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by our organization. Both vessels were headed to Karanlık Port mooring area with pilots on board.

No pollution or loss of life reported but both vessels suffered damage due to the friction.

İZMİT GEMİ TRAFİK HİZMETLERİ MERKEZİ TÖRENLE AÇILDI

İzmit Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri Merkezi ve Dört Adet Trafik Gözetleme İstasyonu açılış töreni, Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanımız Sayın Ahmet Arslan ve Milli Savunma Bakanımız Sayın Fikri Işık'ın katılımlarıyla gerçekleştirildi.

Gemi Trafik Yönetim Sistemi (GTYS) Projesi kapsamında kurulumu gerçekleştirilen İzmit Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri Merkezi’nin açılış törenine, bakanlarımızın yanı sıra Bakanlık Müsteşarımız Sayın Suat Hayri AKA, Müsteşar Yardımcılarımız Sayın Selçuk SERT ve Özkan POYRAZ, Kocaeli Valisi Sayın Hasan Basri GÜZELOĞLU, Yalova Valisi Sayın Tuğba YILMAZ, Genel Müdür Vekilimiz Sayın B. Olcay ÖZGÜRCE, İç Sular Düzenleme Genel Müdürü Sayın Hızırreis DENİZ, Deniz Ticareti Genel Müdür V. Sayın Cemalettin ŞEVLİ, Tersaneler ve Kıyı Yapıları Genel Müdürü Sayın Salim ÖZPAK, Altyapı Yatırımları Genel Müdürü Sayın Erol ÇITAK, ilçe belediye başkanları ve çok sayıda davetli ile vatandaşlar katıldı.

Milli Savunma Bakanımız Sayın Fikri Işık, "7 bin 800 kilometrenin üzerinde deniz sınırı olan bir ülkeyiz. Bunun bizim açımızdan iki önemli sonucu var. Bir, denizden ve deniz ticaretinden çok daha fazla pay alma imkanımız var, ikincisi ise savunma ve güvenliğimiz noktasında denizlerden daha fazla yararlanma, denizlerden gelebilecek tehditlere yönelik de tedbir alma sorumluluğumuz ve imkanımız var. İşte şu anda bu tesis de güvenliğimizin sağlanması, özellikle kazaların önlenmesi, gemi trafiğinin düzenlenmesi açısından son derece önemli bir adımı atmış oluyoruz" dedi.

Milli Savunma Bakanı Fikri Işık'ın ardından söz alan Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanımız Sayın Ahmet ARSLAN ise, "Deniz yollarımızı kullanabilmek adına tersane sayısı 37'dan 79'a çıkmış durumda. Gemi inşa kapasitemiz 440 bin dedveyt tondan 4 milyonun üzerine, yaklaşık 10 misline çıkmış durumda. Dünyanın birçok ülkesiyle rekabet edebilecek, çok özellikli gemiler inşa edebilir hale gelmiş bulunmaktayız. Özellikle Türkiye yat üretiminde bir marka halinde dünyanın 3. sırasında. Yine Türk sahipli gemi filomuzda dünyada 14. sırada. Dünyanın denizciliğini yönlendiren, dünyanın deniz taşımacılığını yönlendiren ülke sayısının özellikle 30 olduğunu düşünürseniz 14. Sırada olmak özel bir şey ki Türk sahipli gemi filomuz 9 milyondan bugün 30 milyona çıkmış durumda” dedi.

Genel Müdür V. Sayın B. Olcay ÖZGÜRCE ise “Bakanlığımızın bu kıymetli projesi, ilgili tüm tarafların katılımı sağlanarak şekillendirilmiş, sonuçlandırılmış ve Türk Denizciliğine armağan edilmiştir. Projeyi başlatan, zamanın Bakanı, şu andaki Başbakanımız Sayın Binali YILDIRIM ile aynı desteği ve ilgiyi devam ettiren Bakanımız Sayın Ahmet ARSLAN’a ve emeği geçen ve destek veren herkese çok teşekkür ediyorum. Projenin, bölgemize ve ülkemize hayırlı olmasını temenni ederim dedi. 

Konuşmaların arından bakanlar ve protokol üyelerinin katılımı ile İzmit Gemi Trafik Hizmetleri Merkezi törenle hizmete açıldı.

Ardından Ulaştırma, Denizcilik ve Haberleşme Bakanımız Sayın Ahmet ARSLAN, Milli Savunma Bakanımız Sayın Fikri IŞIK ve beraberindeki heyet, operasyon odasını gezerek incelemelerde bulundu.  

VESSEL NAMED “K. DADAYLI” HAS BEEN SALVED

On 16.11.2016 at 10:56 p.m. Marshall Islands flagged vessel named “K. DADAYLI” reported that she exposed to a sea peril due to engine failure while passing under Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge without a pilot from South to North Direction.

Our KURTARMA 3 tugboat and KIYEM 3 together with a pilot were immediately sent to the place of incident by the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

On 17.11.2016 at 00:35 a.m. as a result of the salvage operation given by our organization, causality vessel was safely anchored to Büyükdere mooring berth.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED “MINA-1” HAS BEEN SALVED

On 11.11.2016 at 12:35 a.m. Turkish flagged vessel named “MINA-1” exposed to a sea peril by drifting on the coast of Dragos in Maltepe and ran aground as inclined in position of 40ʹ 54,7ʹʹN - 029ʹ 07,8ʹʹE.

Our Kıyı Emniyeti 4 SAR boat and Kurtarma 1 tugboat were immediately sent to the place of incident by Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

Despite all warnings, MINA-1 vessel were towed by the agency boat named ÇAVANOZ AHMET and refloated.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED LAURUS HAS BEEN SALVED

On 26.08.2016 at 03:43 a.m. Moldovia flagged, vessel named Laurus (IMO no: 9559169) exposed to a sea peril by drifting due to an engine failure. Our Kurtarma 4 tugboat was immediately sent to the place of incident by the Çanakkale Vessel Traffic Services in order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment.

At 06:10 a.m. as a result of the salvage operation given by Kurtarma 4 tugboat, casualty vessel was safely anchored to Karanlık mooring berth. At 07:35 a.m. TURKS 2015 Salvage Agreement was signed.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED CERENCAN WHICH SUFFERED RUDDER FAILURE HAS BEEN SALVED​

On 18.08.2016 at 04:42 a.m. Sierra Leone flagged, 114 meter long vessel named “CERENCAN” which is loaded with 3047 MTON pea reported that she has suffered rudder failure in front of Tarabya while passing through Istanbul Strait from North to South Direction.

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, our Kurtarma 3 tugboat was immediately sent to the place of incident by the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

As a result of the salvage operation given by Kurtarma 3 tugboat as of 05:03 a.m., causality vessel was safely anchored to Büyükdere mooring berth at 05:50 a.m.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

SG-25 BOAT COLLIDED WITH VESSEL NAMED TOLUNAY 

On 17.08.2016 at 08:20 a.m. vessel named Tolunay collided with SG-25 Boat at the entrance of Istanbul Strait while passing through Istanbul Strait from South to North direction. SG-25 Boat turned upside down.

Kıyı Emniyeti 3 and 4 SAR boats, Kurtarma 1 and 8 tugboats, Şark tugboat and RHIB boat arrived upon the place of incident, together with Maritime Police and divers from Our Organization and Coast Guards.

There were 7 personnel onboard boat and 6 of them are rescued. 3 personnel among rescued personnel are in critical condition. As a result of the Search and Rescue Operation, teams reached to the missing 1 personnel and transferred him to the medical team for hospital treatment.

 GROUNDED VESSEL NAMED EMİNE ANNE REFLOATED 

On 20.07.2016 at 07:32 a.m. upon receiving the report that the Turkish flagged, 69 meter long vessel named “EMİNE ANNE” laden with iron, run aground at the north of the Bozcaada jetty, Çanakkale Vessel Traffic Services has immediately sent the Kıyı Emniyeti 9 SAR boat to the place of incident in order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment.

On 21.07.2016 at 02:10 p.m. casualty vessel refloated as a result of the work initiated as part of the TURKS 2015 Salvage Agreement signed with the captaincy of EMİNE ANNE vessel.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED HELGA HAS BEEN SALVED

On 18.07.2016 at 10:20 a.m. 78.7-meter-long Moldovan flagged vessel named “HELGA” laden with Magnesite exposed to a sea peril in front of the Maiden Tower by drifting due to the rudder failure while passing through Istanbul Strait from South to North direction.

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, our Kurtarma 3 tugboat and KIYEM 3 SAR boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.

As a result of salvage service rendered by Kurtarma 3 tugboat, casualty vessel was secured and anchored to Ahırkapı A mooring area at 11:20 a.m..

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED ‘GIRANDE ITALIA’ HAS BEEN SALVED

On 09.06.2016 at 22:50 p.m. 176 meter-long Italy flagged vessel named GIRANDE ITALIA loaded with 8 vehicles was exposed to a sea peril by drifting due to engine failure  after turning around Nara cape during her passage through Çanakkale Strait in South-North direction,

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, KURTARMA-5 tug boat was immediately sent to the place of incident by our organization, As a result of salvage service, the GIRANDE ITALIA vessel was secured and anchored off Saltık Cape on 10.06.2016 at 01.05 a.m.

No pollution or loss of life reported.

VESSEL NAMED “KOLIN-7” WHICH RAN AGROUND HAS BEEN SALVED

On 05.06.2016, Turkish flagged vessel named KOLIN-7 was exposed to a sea peril by running aground while maneuvering to come alongside Kepez Port in front of Dalyan cape  in Kepez during her voyage of Bozcaada – Kepez.

In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, SÖNDÜREN-7 tug boat was immediately sent to the place of incident by Çanakkale Vessel Traffic Services Center.

As a result of salvage service, the casualty vessel was refloated and secured at 12:18 a.m.. No pollution or loss of life reported.
