THE VESSEL NAMED ANNETTE HAS BEEN SALVED

 

On 01.01.2017, the pilot onboard Antigua Barbuda flagged vessel named ANNETTE which was passing through Istanbul Strait in North-South direction reported that a fire broke out in engine room. In order to provide the safety of navigation, life, property and protect environment, Kurtarma 7, Kurtarma 8 tug boats and Kıyı Emniyeti 4 SAR boat were immediately sent to the place of incident by Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services.


As a result of salvage service rendered by our organization, the vessel was secured and anchored to Ahırkapı A mooring area.
 

No pollution or loss of life reported.
