                VESSEL NAMED “CROWN EMMA” RAN AGROUND AT KİREÇBURNU 

 

At 09:02 p.m. 152-meter-long vessel named “CROWN EMMA” with a gross tonnage of 10.519 ran aground at Kireçburnu.

 

Vessel did not respond any calls and warnings made by the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services and went out from the separation scheme. She ran aground to shore from her port side following turning to Büyükdere direction after passing through the Umuryeri flashing light while navigating from North to South direction.

 

Our KURTARMA 3 and KURTARMA 10 tugboats were immediately sent to the place of incident.

 

At 11:55 p.m. vessel named “CROWN EMMA” refloated by her own means and, at 12:08 a.m., she was safely anchored to the Büyükdere mooring area.
