                               VESSEL NAMED “KING EDWARD” BROKE DOWN BY ENGINE FAILURE  

 

On 22.02.2015 at about 06:45 p.m. Marshall Island flagged empty tanker named “King Edward” dropped anchor in front of the Bebek Bay due to the engine failure. At 07.55 p.m. the vessel declared that she repaired her breakdown, at 08.10 p.m. she weighted anchor and was anchored to Ahırkapı anchorage area with the escort of our Kurtarma 8 and Kurtarma 9 tugboats by taking all kinds of measures.

 

No pollution or loss of life has been occured.
